ABOUT cat

Where do I begin?

I want everybody to be able to see the ocean the way I do.

I am a shark ecologist (MSc) marine biologist (BSc), competitive freediver (with a cheeky little national record for the UK -80m CWTB) and underwater camerawoman, which many would consider a dream. Perhaps because of that, I feel a deep responsibility to share my adventures with the world.

My ultimate goal is to spark curiosity and wonder in others.

More than anything, it’s my understanding of animals that opens doors to awe-inspiring interactions. It is a privilege. And it's a privilege that can be taught. So, it's a privilege I want to teach.

I have worked across the globe, from Iceland to the Dominican Republic to French Polynesia and everywhere in between. This has included volunteering, marine research, working in eco-tourism and underwater or aerial videography roles.

Koalafications.

I studied Marine Biology at the University of Portsmouth, and carried on to do my masters in Shark Ecology between the University of the Algarve and Curtin University in Western Australia.
