Embark on a quest of chaos and anarchy (but actually, in search of interactions that the animals will enjoy just as much as we do).

Ethical Wildlife Encounters: a little backstory

For years, I have worked and travelled all over our little dot of green and blue, as scientist, tourist and guide. Along the way, I have collected some of my favourite locations and operators who prioritise kindness towards the animals in every step of the way.

My life has been spent collecting the skills I need to have the best and most respectful encounters possible.

The way you behave in the water will always impact your interactions with the animals you see. Wild animals are driven by their instincts, so grasping the meanings behind certain behaviours and picking up on subtle cues is our link to having safe and awe-inspiring encounters.  Encouraging wildlife to feel safe around you will improve every dive.

I want to take people on adventures that blend science with pure, unadulterated fun. I want to be the one to take people a journey that will leave imprints on their hearts forever.

So I’m going to.
