Tonga
There is a tiny little island in Tonga (which is a bunch of tiny islands not too far from Fiji or Australia) where the humpback whales travel every year to mate and give birth. Pregnant females travel from the south, as far as Antarctica, to bring their newborns into the world where the water is warm and safe. They will hang around in the tropics for two to four months, waiting for their calves to grow big and strong enough to survive the journey home- and the chilly temperatures when they get there. While they are nurturing their children- we like to look on in awe.
